Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PullNotifier ("PullNotifier", "we", "us"), a service that delivers GitHub pull-request notifications and reports into Slack. By using PullNotifier you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

PullNotifier is operated by Kaustav Chakraborty as an individual. Contact: support@progresify.dev.

1. The service

PullNotifier connects to your GitHub and Slack workspaces to post and update pull-request notifications and scheduled reports. Features may change as the service evolves. The service is currently offered in an early/pre-release stage.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and authorised to connect the GitHub and Slack workspaces you link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your linked integrations. You must have permission from your organisation to install and configure PullNotifier.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• abuse free usage (for example, creating multiple accounts to evade limits); or
• use the service to transmit malware or unlawful content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Third-party services

PullNotifier depends on GitHub and Slack. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or actions. Connecting them authorises PullNotifier to access the data described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PullNotifier and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence, including the GDPR for users in the EU.
